Fields of Forget-Me-Nots

How could one forget or even pass by these diminutive, periwinkle blue flowers without noticing? They are in full bloom in my part of the world, just reaching their peak. Often found along creeks and damp portions of the woods, they make quite a statement when seen in large numbers such as this, creating a sea of spotted blue petals and sunny yellow centers.

I’m quite certain that these often overlooked flowers, upon closer inspection, will captivate you with their color, delight you with their daintiness, and charm your flower vase if you do so boldly pick a tiny sprig of these not to be forgotten Forget-Me-Nots.
