woodland flowers

Before the snow started flying last Friday, I gathered up some of the precious few flowers in bloom to spare them from the snow and created a little flower arrangement.
I arranged them in a recent thrifty find...this adorable creamer depicting blossoms and a birdcage. A little flower frog fit perfectly in the bottom to aid in my arranging.

For whatever reason, I have a thing for creamers...which is a bit odd because I don't use cream in either my coffee or tea. But I can't help rescuing pretty old creamers when I see them. So I'm glad I found a good use for this one.
